Sandusky

GUILTY OF 45 OF 48 COUNTS. Penn State got what they wanted a quick ending to a horrible year. Sandusky was a Penn State burden for over the past decade and beyond. The college will go on this fall and the team will play, coaches will coach, games will be won and Penn State will rake in the cash.
This fall men who where victims of Sandusky who did not come forward will be again reliving their nightmares with the trial; and wondering WHY ?
A Vision seen through the mist and steam of the shower as a jolting pain and the threat ; silence or else is whispered in your ear. A savior with a head of hair the color of the suns brightest rays stands to the side and shakes his head and leaves in silence and the pain continues as the stale breath of this respected man violates the innocence of another. The ride home silent and the smile on this mans face is almost enough to send chills through the hardest of souls. The realization that the wetness you feel is not from the "rough housing"  in the shower but from your ass and the wetness is your own blood. There is no one to tell and you sleep with the horrors replaying within your mind : how could my friend do this to me?

Jerry Sandusky retired from Penn State in 1999 as one of the most notable college football coaches never to have held a college head coach position. Sandusky won Assistant Coach of the year in 1986 and 1999 along he wrote several books dedicated to his coaching experiences. At the word of his retirement not one major college went after this celebrated coach. His office continued being next to head coach's Joe Paterno and his actions whatever they were where kept under wraps and he was left to his charity The Second Mile. Why was Sandusky not scouted by any college for his brilliant coaching style. What did Penn State know.....better yet what did friend Joe Paterno know about his best friend.

Why? Why? Why was Sandusky  not recruited by any of the major college and what was Penn State hiding from the citizens of Pennsylvania ; and who had the victims been and why was this kept secret. I know the answer and anyone with a common sense  knows .........MONEY & FOOTBALL & BOWL GAMES.

Jerry Sandusky and his wife founded the SECOND MILE foundation in 1977 to help troubled youth  within in the community. This would of been prime pickings for the likes of Sandusky and when did the ravages of youth begin within the foundation. November 10,2011 Mark Madden made allegations on a Boston radio station that their are much more facets to this case that have been kept under wraps for an easy and profitable retirement of Sandusky back in 1999. Madden originally wrote about the Sandusky scandal in April of 2011 seven months before the scandal broke out.....WHY was that not released until after the October 29th Penn State win putting Paterno as coach with the most wins in Division 1 history. Penn State had Football to think of and the Sandusky scandal could wait till the season was over.

Jerry Sandusky was and is a monster of the worst kind......the gentle kind man among us, he is our next door neighbor and our man to go too on the block. If you think of this as a horror film or thriller this is the the twist at the end that leaves you winded at the thought of the horrors this man had brought upon his victims. His foundation which began in 1977 was a organization which helped troubled youth. It was a perfect breeding ground for the monster in the making. It was the home away from home for the boys without a parent or just a place to escape a troubled home. 1977-2011 Thirty four years for the monster to prey upon youth. Coach Sandusky was the coolest thing that came into these young preteens lives. Penn State one of the best College football teams in the United States  Sandusky brought these teens into the inner sanctum of the Nittany Lions.

How long in the 34 years of the Second Mile program where preteens  brought into the inner world of Sanduskys coaching life, and how long has Penn State known about the extra curricular activities of Coach Sandusky. America is the country of Football,Baseball and Motion Pictures and they all have one thing in common and that is $$$$$$$$$$. Penn State brings in over 70 million dollars in revenue from the Nittany Lions. The money brought in by the team is almost 10x the amount in yearly donations given to the school. I probably am light in the estimate but there must be a few dozen youths who where friends of Sandusky ,and Joe Paterno and staff watched as their famed assistant coach brought these youths into the sanctum of college football.

It is the silence and coverup by Penn State that in my opinion the most atrocious of coverups in the United States in the past 50 years. It is the team that comes first and the legend of Joe Paterno that must not be tarnished. Team players are not to suffer for the sins of Sandusky and the thought of any chance of the team being sanctioned and not allowed to play this year or possibly more. Critics say how could we punish the players who have worked for years to get to this point in their lives. How could Penn State disregard the victimization of the youths which will live with the brutal taking of innocence for the rest of their lives. Some team players will go into the pros and some victims those who are not known ,they may be addicts, abusers themselves, some may have taken their lives at the shame thrust upon them with the betrayal of their savior who rescued them from their troubled homes. It is the rage I feel as a victim of abuse myself that Penn State will get away with the crime of silence. They will payout some victims and families and they will do anything for this all to go away. I will tell you it will never go away for the victims and the power of the almighty buck will always be the winner and the loser will live a life of  what if's.

Sandusky will finish his life behind bars but the victims live in an invisible cell that keeps one from having the memories of innocence taken so violently with the guise of a friendship. This whole story brings a new meaning to the term "Taking one for the team".
